The MR-500 is an innovative robot dedicated to sustainable beach cleaning, designed to efficiently remove microplastics from sand without impacting the environment.

Powered by five high-efficiency photovoltaic panels, it uses only solar energy to operate, making it a completely green solution.

Its collection system is based on heated discs that slide over the sand and attract microplastics thanks to the temperature difference and the adhesive properties of plastic materials. This method allows for precise separation without damaging the coastal ecosystem.

 

With a view to even greater sustainability, the MR-500 does not use a lithium battery, but a supercapacitor battery developed by Captery Technology, which guarantees extremely fast recharging cycles, long life, and a significantly reduced environmental impact.

Furthermore, the robot does not use refrigerant gases, relying instead on an air cooling system, thus eliminating the use of substances that are potentially harmful to the environment.

With a battery life of 3 hours and a removal capacity of 500 grams of microplastics per hour, the MR 500 is a compact, efficient, and deeply environmentally friendly solution.
